Although the area is restricted to traffic, B&B guests can pass through without any problems by communicating the license plate to avoid penalties.

How to get to Arezzo

Figuring out how to get to Arezzo, in a city you don’t know or don’t know enough about, is crucial to getting your stay off to the best possible start. How then to get to Arezzo? It is very easy by any means, just follow some tips that we will outline below. And don’t forget about the possibility of car or bike sharing either!

By car

We recommend the Via Pietri parking lot to all our guests who reach Arezzo by car. This parking lot is really easy to get to, and has a large number of free parking and RV spaces.

What’s more, which is especially crucial for handicapped persons or those with mobility limitations, it is equipped with very convenient escalators that lead just a few dozen meters from our facility! Those traveling with a lot of luggage can still get to our facility, again because of the advantages given by the above-mentioned escalators.

The parking lot is located right under the city walls of the historic center, so finding it is really very easy. Just drive up to the city walls (coming from any direction) and follow them clockwise, without entering the center. In this way you will safely arrive at the parking lot.

Don’t be fooled by the signs indicating the ztl, we can come to you with ease. In fact, even though our B&B is located in a restricted traffic zone, our customers can reach us at any time even if the gate is closed! We will take care of communicating your license plate to the authorities, making your passage lawful and free of the anxiety of receiving hefty fines on your way home.

How to get to Arezzo by Train

Don’t have a car and don’t know how to get to Arezzo? No problem! Those arriving by train can decide whether to reach us by foot or by taxi. To reach our facility on foot, you need to walk through the historic center-a walk that will take you about ten minutes.

Leaving the train station, you must leave it behind and reach Piazza San Francesco through Via Guido Monaco. When you arrive at San Francesco Square, continue to the Cathedral through Cesalpino Street. When you arrive in front of the Cathedral turn left onto Via Ricasoli until you reach our facility in Piaggia di Murello.

For those who have too much luggage, or perhaps are just tired from the journey and do not want to tire themselves further, you can reach our facility via one of the many cabs you will find directly at the station exit. How to get to Arezzo by bus

Arezzo is connected to the Valdichiana, Valtiberina, Pratomagno, Casentino and Valdarno thanks to an efficient communications network made possible by the ATAM bus lines (here the various routes and winter and summer schedules), LFI (here routes and schedules) and Tiemme Spa (here to calculate routes and here schedules and routes).

But for those who want to take a trip by means that may be cheaper than the train, there are several bus lines that reach our city. The stop is at 11 Bernardo Rossellino Street, an 8/10 minute walk from our B&B.

By plane

The most convenient Tuscan airports to get to Arezzo are that of Pisa (PSA), about 155 km away, and that of Florence (FLR), 95 km from our city, served by cabs, bus rentals or people movers. A stopover at the airport of Perugia (PEG), however, also a hundred kilometers away, is not to be ruled out either: in fact, it is served by some buses that connect Perugia directly to Arezzo, which you can find here.
